15 January 2010: The AUP in Asia Chapter organized their first alumni night in Tokyo.
29 January 2010: Haiti Fundraiser in Paris - the Amex Café organized a fundraising event to raise money for the disaster relief following the massive earthquake in Haiti. The evening was a huge success and approximately 2,200 Euros were raised for Heartland Alliance, a humanitarian organization operating in Haiti where two AUP alumni were working—Sean Casey ('04) and Ramsey Ben-Achour ('07).
28 February 2010: Hussain Alfili ('11) and his family kindly hosted an event in Kuwait, joined by President Celeste Schenck, and AUP politics and business students on a study trip with Professors Hall Gardner and Bill Stewart.
2 March 2010: A lovely alumni dinner that took place in Dubai.
29 April 2010: The AUPDC Chapter welcomed President Celeste Schenck to Washington DC. Carey Kluttz ('09) was also welcomed as the Chapter’s new President.
20-24 May 2010: Global Alumni Weekend 2010 in Paris. The weekend included a Welcome Cocktail, Professional Networking Breakfast, Memorial Service for Dr. Lloyd DeLamater, The President's Conference, Commencement Ceremony, 30-Year Reunion at the Amex Cafe, Young Alumni Cocktail at Chef Daniel Rose's ('00) Paris boutique, Gala Dinner and Dancing at the Montparnasse Tower, and a day-trip to the Champagne Region of France.
27 October 2010: The AUPNY Chapter hosted an evening with President Celeste Schenck, local alumni and friends in New York. The evening was a great success, with one of the largest turn-outs in the last few years.
16 November 2010: In conjunction with the Graduate Student Council and the Colombian Consulate, Alumni Affairs hosted an Alumni Networking Reception, in Paris, open to graduating seniors, graduate students, alumni and friends. This is just one of many networking events which will take place each academic semester.
8 December, 2010: In celebration of the Annual Alumni Holiday Party, Alumni Affairs welcomed special guest, Olivia de Havilland, who gave a wonderful William Faulkner reading and met with attendees. It was a magical way to ring in the holiday cheer with the local alumni community.
20 December 2010: President Schenck and our gracious host Cynthia Junkin welcomed alumni, parents and prospective AUP students in Miami with an intimate pre-Christmas event, thoroughly enjoyed by all.
18 January 2011: Mr. & Mrs. Marc Groothaert ('68), generously opened their beautiful Geneva home to welcome President Celeste Schenck, fellow alumni, friends and prospective students.
18 January 2011: In Oslo, an event was kindly hosted by former AUP Trustee and alumnus Paal Frisvold ('86). Alumna and AUP Admissions Counselor, Anna Tornqvist ('04), was in attendance to share all the latest news from the AUP campus.
27 January 2011: AUP President Celeste Schenck and AUP Trustee and alumnus Peter de Castro ('67), met with local alumni and former students in San Francisco to mingle and catch up on old times.

18 February 2011: The AUPDC Chapter enjoyed a little music with Le Poème Harmonique, followed by a wine reception in Washington DC.
19 February 2011: The AUP in Asia Chapter celebrated their second annual alumni event in Tokyo with local alumni and friends from AUP and the Franklin College of Switzerland.
20 February 2011: Professor Dan Gunn, Comparative Literature, English and European and Mediterranean Cultures, was in the Big Apple and took the opportunity to share a cocktail with the local alumni community.
25 February 2011: In London, 30 alumni reunited for drinks and dinner in London with Alumni Affairs Coordinator, Kristina Keenan ('08), in attendance.
7 March 2011: AUP Trustee Gretchen Handwerger kindly welcomed President Celeste Schenck and all the local community into her beautiful Washington DC home. This event was also attended by the Chair of AUP's Board of Trustees and alumna Judith Hermanson Ogilvie ('65), and members of the AUPDC chapter.
8 March 2011: While traveling through Shanghai, AUP Trustee and alumnus Franklin Craig ('81), and AUP Admissions Counselor Alice Moir-Veyret enjoyed an amazing evening on the Bund, with AUP alumni, parents and friends.
12 March 2011: In partnership with the Graduate Student Council (GSC), Alumni Affairs hosted a professional networking brunch in Paris for local alumni, graduate students, graduating seniors and friends. Following the brunch, participants had an opportunity to join the Global Career Forum 2011, organized by the Career Development Office and Office of Internships.
